We understand that life happens. If you would like to withdrawal funds from your Vault account, reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get that process started for you.
Because Vault accounts are Individual Retirement Accounts, designed for long-term investing, the IRS has some disbursement regulations.
The money you contribute to a Roth IRA may be withdrawn at any time without early withdrawal penalties. Returns and interest earned can be withdrawn without penalty after the age of 59 ½, as long as the account has been open for at least five years.
However, the entirety of the funds in your SEP or Traditional IRA -- this includes contributions and returns -- are subject to early withdrawal penalties if you take them out before the age of 59 ½, unless you qualify for a hardship distribution.
